Harnessing the Power of Manifestation and Action

Sometimes, the road less traveled leads to the most breathtaking destinations. I once shared a piece of advice with a bright-eyed dreamer: Chase your dreams, but weave a safety net with threads of practicality. Simply put, I suggested she take AP Computer Science as a Plan B, should her artistic aspirations face obstacles.

Fast forward to today, and her journey has taken a beautiful twist — she’s now thriving in Technology and Information Management Systems at a vibrant UC campus. A field we hadn’t even considered! Did I use reverse psychology? Or did I unknowingly manifest this outcome? Perhaps it was a bit of both, or maybe it’s the mysterious way passion and practicality can intertwine, leading us to our true calling.

The lesson here? Encouraging practical backup plans doesn’t mean derailing dreams. It’s about broadening horizons and uncovering new passions that might have been just out of sight. For anyone standing at the crossroads of their career or education, remember that it’s okay to explore a Plan B, C, or even Z. Sometimes, they guide you right to where you’re meant to be.
